Rachel and Taro’s Jewish-Japanese Wedding at Mountain Top Inn & Resort, Vermont

Rachel and Taro are such a connected couple and on a mid June day they made a commitment at the  breathtaking venue, Mountain Top Inn & Resort,Vermont.

As we arrived the venue, we noticed the 1000 paper cranes reflecting and flowing in the breeze surrounding the Chuppah. This was created by both Rachel and Taro starting the project one year prior.

We began their day capturing both bride and groom’s separate Tisch where their family and friends get together, offer them advice and singing. When the Tisch ended Rachel, her family and friends locked arms and walked to in front of Taro’s house with singing. This is where they saw each other for the first time and it was so beautiful. Both families gathered around them holding hands singing and dancing as they join in the dancing as a couple.

Then we headed to the ceremony. It was held with a beautiful scene of the Vermont mountains where Jewish and Japanese traditions united.

After the ceremony, we captured some intimate portraits, then Rachel and Taro headed the barn to get the party started.

They had the most beautiful wedding day with so much fun and happiness around. Congratulations Rachel and Taro with many more years to come!
