I was so fortunate to meet with Grace and Kylan for their engagement session in July at the Omni Mount Washington Hotel and this is when I learned their story about how much they enjoy coming up from Connecticut to New Hampshire’s white mountains each year so what better landmark to get married in front of the king of the eastern mountains, Mount Washington. On October 15th, the foliage was at its peak and the weather was surreal at the Omni Mount Washington Resort.
As Kylan stood on the bridge awaiting his new bride’s arrival, you could see the clouds where floating just enough so that the peak could be seen, then open up to a clear view of the Mount Washington. As this happened the first look was also about to take place as Grace with her maid of honor, came down from the resort’s pathway. It was exciting and the lighting was perfect as I captured this spectacular moment. Grace looked amazing in her stunning dress.
Kylan chose a red foliage tree that caught his eye for more intimate photos then we we got some great group photos with the wedding party out on the golf course.
We timed everything perfectly as we made it up to the balcony for their ceremony to take place. With the mountain range in the background, warm heat and light wind to make the gowns flow, it was a beautiful fall wedding that I imagined their wedding way to be.
The reception was tastefully decorated with beautiful fresh flowers with fall color and New Hampshire’s fresh maple Syrup in a maple leaf glass for the guests.
Grace’s uncle was a comedian for the day and kept everyone entertained during the reception. The couple played a fun game of Guess Who which left Grace winning the most correct votes.
Many of their guests traveled 3,200- 12,200 miles to partake in their happiest day and that shows incredible support for such a lovely couple.
I am thrilled to have captured their happily ever after and I wish for prosperous years of adventure together.
