Downtown Portsmouth and Wagon Hill Farm Engagement Session, New Hampshire Wen and Eric

Portsmouth is such a beautiful city filled with so much charm and character. So when Wen and Eric inquired about a good location for their engagement photos that had cobblestone streets and brick building it was no doubt first on my list of suggestions.
This beautiful couple came up to New England from North Carolina last weekend for their engagement session. We spent this windy and sunny Sunday afternoon walking the streets of downtown Portsmouth and sharing conversations about their wedding preparations for next year, their ideas, and how beautiful North Carolina is. Starting in Prescott Park, Wen and Eric braved the cold by taking off their jackets to get some amazing photos. We headed down the side streets of Strawberry Bank then down towards Market Street.
After about 1 hour we were all in need of a warm up and Kaffee Vonsolln was a great place for that. It also became a romantic scene for some of their photos and the cafe staff was so friendly and accommodating for this by opening their large store front window.
By now we were warmed up to make our move back to the cars and off to the next location, Wagon Hill Farm in Durham where we just made it in time to capture them and the great sunset through the field out to the bay. Though this was the coldest time but you wouldn’t know looking at their photos. We had an amazing afternoon together and I really enjoyed the evening getting to know them both. Can’t wait for their wedding  next year in Peeks Island, Maine.
